Producer Ekta Kapoor is beyond upset after a case has been filed against her in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise and points out the fact that she was the one who launched him
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide has left everyone in shock. As SSR suffered depression, many have been blaming Nepotism to be the reason for his death. While the police have been still investigating the case, it was recently reported that after Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, a case has been filed against Bollywood producers and filmmakers, Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ekta Kapoor and actor Salman Khan. Now, Ekta Kapoor reacts to the news report and lashes out on social media.
Taking to her Instagram account, Producer Ekta Kapoor shared a snippet of a report from a newspaper. Reposting a post made by @jagranenglishnews, Ekta Kapoor expressed her fury over the issue. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “Thanku for the case for not casting sushi....when Actually I LAUNCHED HIM. I’m beyond upset at how convoluted theories can b! Pls@let family n frns mourn in peace! Truth shall@prevail. CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!! credit: @jagranenglishnews...”
In her post’s caption, the producer mentioned how she is beyond upset at how complicated theories can be. She then went on to thank the person who filed the case for not casting Sushant Singh Rajput as she was the one who actually launched him. Requesting everyone to let family and friends mourn the late actor’s demise in peace, Kapoor mentioned how the truth shall prevail, sharing she cannot still believe it all.
Meanwhile, it was reported by news agency ANI on Wednesday that a police case has been filed against eight people including Bollywood directors Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, producer Ekta Kapoor, and actor Salman Khan in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. For the unversed, the complaint was lodged by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha who alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput was removed from around seven films and some of his films were not released. The complainant also alleged that such a situation was created which forced him to take a drastic step.
